Prof. Kui Chen, Southwest Jiaotong University, China

陈奎 教授，西南交通大学（国家级青年人才）

Kui Chen, a professor and PhD supervisor at Southwest Jiaotong University, and a national-level young talent. His research focuses on battery health management systems for power and energy storage batteries, new energy storage technologies and energy management, big data and artificial intelligence and their applications, as well as the durability of electrical equipment. He has led or participated in more than 10 research projects, including the National Overseas High-Level Talent Program, the National Key R&D Program, the EU Seventh Framework Programme, the French National Research Agency, and research projects funded by the French Public Investment Bank. He has received the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Science and Technology Award of the China Railway Society. As first or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 SCI papers, including 3 ESI highly cited papers.

Prof. Mohammed J. K. Bashir, Central Queensland University, Australia

Prof. Shahid Hussain, Jiangsu University, China

Prof. Dr. Shahid Hussain by national: Pakistan, is currently working as Professor (Full) at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University, China. He completed his PhD degree in Chongqing University, 2015, after started Post-Doctoral research fellowship 2015-2017. He joined Jiangsu University as Associate Professor in July 2017 and based on his outstanding achievements and experiences, he was promoted as Full Professor in July 2019, and was approved by the state, Govt of China in 2020. He is also serving as Adjunct Professor, Department of Metallurgical Engineering, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan (July 2026) and Associate Professor at Department of Physics, University of Sargodha, Pakistan (August 2024). He is life time memebr for FIAAM (Fellow of International Association of Advanced Materials) since December 2024; and Associate Fellow FSEMS (The Society for Energy, Materials & Sustainability), April 27, 2026. He is also listed in Top2% Scientist list since 2021 to present, each year.

Research foundation and working conditions At present, Dr. Shahid Hussain and the project team have executed a lot of work in the field of metal oxide, sulfides, MXenes and metal-organic based gas sensors, supercapacitors and LiS Batteries. He has published high quality research articles, and also has a wealth of experience, which laid a solid foundation for the project related research. Dr Shahid Hussain has excellent working experience on gas sensors and has been working on sensor device fabrication since 2011. He has published more than 360+ SCI indexed journal research articles with h-Index is 69 and i-10 index 260 in Google Scholar with 15000 citations (~ August 2026) and 2 books and 9 book Chapters including Advanced Materials, Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Applied Materials & Interfaces, Sensors and Actuators B, etc and has impact factor ~ IF>2900. He is also working as an Editor for 7 SCI indexed journals (Elsevier, Springer, Frontiers, American Scientific Publishers and MDPI).
